Performs various accounting transactions through systems and
applications to support financial reports in accordance with generally
accepted accounting principles (GAAP), postal policy, regulations and

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
This section is composed
of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) which are required to
satisfactorily perform the tasks of the position. Applicants must
demonstrate that they possess a sufficient level of each KSA to enable
them to perform these tasks satisfactorily. Applicants demonstrate these
levels by describing examples of experience, education, or training any
of which may be non-postal. Ratings are based on the demonstration of
the level of possession of each of the KSAs, taking into account
provision of Article 33 of the Information Technology/Accounting Service
Centers collective bargaining agreement. Failure to demonstrate any KSA

Ability to process accounting transactions and maintain records or sub-
ledgers in accordance with

accurate financial reporting.

answering questions, giving directions, and providing information.
Ability to comprehend and execute oral instructions to complete work
tasks and job assignments.
Ability to work cooperatively with people and interact positively with
customers and co-workers,

Ability to work with limited supervision to independently plan and
execute work activities, check work
for completeness and accuracy, and meet established time commitments.
